Aly Brooke Thayer is a Nashville Native that is passionate about the beauty industry. Upon obtaining her cosmetology license in 2014, Aly dove into the industry head first, allowing it to take her on a wild ride. From weddings, to film sets, competitions, to pageants, photography, to print work, Aly has had experience with all kinds of hair and makeup needs.

On top of her love for the industry, Aly is also passionate about people. Meeting and getting to know her clients is one of her favorite parts of the job. She strives to create a comfortable and professional environment so that her clients feel at ease with their desires in her hands.

Outside of her business, Aly is a wife to James and a mom to Ella. She loves all things Harry Potter and Disney. If she could do any job outside of HMUA, it would be archeology, specifically for ancient ruins in Egypt! Her idea of a crazy Friday night is playing speciality board games (Pandemic or Dominion are first picks!) with friends, and eating a batch of her famous buffalo chicken dip. One of Aly’s greatest desires is to travel to Uganda and love on the beautiful people that live there. Until then, however, Aly has started a ministry for mother’s suffering with any number of  perinatal mood and/or anxiety disorders (visit PPDJourney for more on this!).
